Acceptance of Terms

By using Harbor, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Harbor.

Self-Custody Acknowledgment

Harbor is a self-custodied protocol. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for your cryptographic keys
  • Loss of your keys means permanent loss of access to your identity and messages
  • There is no recovery mechanism if you lose your keys without a backup
  • Harbor cannot access, recover, or reset your keys

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Harbor to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit illegal content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the protocol or network
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data

No Warranty

Harbor is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that Harbor will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harbor and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, keys, or messages
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of cryptocurrency or digital assets
  • Unauthorized access to your account

Protocol Nature

Harbor is a protocol that interacts with the Base blockchain. Transactions on the blockchain are irreversible. You acknowledge that you understand the nature of blockchain technology and accept the associated risks.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Harbor after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
